Vattenfall developed the Kooypunt solar park together with the Port of Den Helder. The park is an important step in making the port and the region more sustainable.
The solar park was officially opened at the end of 2021. It covers an area of 15 hectares. The park is located between the road Mastenmakersweg, the Rijksweg (N9) and the railway.
