The offshore wind farm Vesterhav Nord was commissioned in 2024.
Vesterhav Nord is located in the North Sea, between 5.5 and 8.4 kilometres from Thyborøn and Ferring Sø on the Jutland coast. The wind farm covers a total area of 39.6 square kilometres.
Along with Vesterhav Syd, Vesterhav Nord was one of the first offshore wind farms in which local residents and holiday home owners could buy shares. More than 1,700 people took advantage of this opportunity.
