Leringsforsen power plant is situated on the river Gimån in the municipality of Ånge.
The plant was built between 1942 and 1944 and uses a Kaplan turbine. It has a head of around 16 metres.
The 80-kilometre-long river Gimån is a tributary of the river Ljungan, which it joins at Torpshammar.
